Country house kitchen and bath tile evokes French style Flooring

Small spaces need special attention if they're going to shine, and our customer knows this well! He imported the hand-molded tile (in classic blue and white!) that we installed in the small but exceptional kitchen of his country house in the Hudson Valley, two hours north of Manhattan. His guest bathroom also got a boost from rich, warm Moroccan floor tile, perfectly scaled to the cozy room. The project included ripping out rotted sub-floor and existing finish floor, adding new sub-flooring and backer board, then installation of the sometimes-finicky tile, plus grouting and sealing, and finally, new baseboard molding painted to match.
